Dr. Digna Wheatley Pearson, is a licensed minister, at Faith City Central where she’s served for over 17 years. A native of the United States Virgin Islands, Digna is a woman after God’s heart who chooses to embrace God’s plans for her life by devoting her time and energy to serving others.

 

Digna combines her passion for God with a distinguished healthcare career. She has been a registered nurse in the healthcare industry for over twenty years, Digna brings nearly sixteen years of invaluable experience in Quality, Patient Relations, Risk Management, and Regulatory Affairs at the Johns Hopkins Health System. She is currently a driving force making valuable contributions in Service Excellence, specifically in the realm of Patient Experience. She is also a certified professional in healthcare risk management. Digna holds a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University with a concentration in Leadership Coaching, a Masters in Biblical and Theological Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary, a Master of Health Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Bachelor of Arts in Health Administration from the University of Maryland. 

 

Digna has been an invaluable member of Faith City Central, formerly Spirit of Faith Christian Center, for over sixteen years. She has adeptly and effectively served in various capacities and ministries as a licensed minister, embodying the spirit of dedication, excellence, and leadership that defines the church's mission.

 

In her native hometown, a high school gymnasium proudly bears her name, honoring her leadership in spearheading a march for educational equality. This march resulted in the construction of 12 classrooms, a gymnasium, a bus shed, a track and field, the purchase of textbooks, and the recruitment of teachers.

 

Digna resides in the beautiful state of Maryland. Her daughter Taylor, a health care attorney, is the absolute love of her life.
